New Class soon!

I'm teaching a new card class at Scrap Arts soon! May 10th is the first date for it. I will post the rest of the samples soon (see last post for first sample). I finally finished all the non crafting work that had to be done this month. Now I am free to work on my crafts for the next few weeks.

I started organizing some stuff last night and of course Kit was right there in the middle of it all. I didn't actually get anything made but it's a start. I have bought a few new things the last couple of weeks so now I can actually use it. This card I made awhile back but never got it posted. I used my Rock Star stamp set from Inkadinkado. I embossed it with Cuttlebug folder Spots & Dots and used copper ink to distress it. This card is not part of the class.

French Flea Market

Well I finally got a chance to play with some of the great new papers we've been getting in at Scrap Arts . I just love the new My Mind's Eye paper, I bought a bunch of the Bella Bella "French Flea Market" line a couple of weeks ago. I haven't had much chance to do anything lately but, I got this idea in my head last night and had to try it before I forgot about it. This card is made with 3 different pp and 2 different card stock. The pp I used is My Mind's Eye "French Flea Market" Simply Plaid, Bleu Striped, & Sophie. All these papers are double sided so I used both patterns in the card. The 2 Bazzill card stock colors were Horizon & Brown. I used Coffee colored dye ink for the stamped images and Versa Magic Jumbo Java Ink for edging all the paper. The stamps are from 3 different Clear Art Stamp Sets from Crafty Secrets Fairyland, Cherish & Wildflowers.

Still too busy

I will be glad when I get all this other work done and can get back to crafting more. I found a few minutes last night to stamp out some images but haven't put anything together yet. Of course since I had lots of things out Kit just had to see what I was doing. She just loves it when I get the ribbon out. In this pic she seems to be saying, "here use this ribbon, I'll just get some for you" . Of course she is sitting in her favorite spot, on the paper trimmer. She is just so funny.
